  • Halla Visteon Climate Control (HVCC), a full-line supplier of automotive thermal management solutions to a number of OEMs, has today officially commenced its production at its new Sanand plant in Gujarat. The plant was inaugurated by Kel Kearns, plant director, Ford India Sanand, YH Park, president and CEO, HVCC, and KT Choi, president, Korea and South Asia, HVCC among other dignitaries. The new facility, which is spread across a manufacturing area of 8,890 square metres, has a manufacturing capacity of two million units of heat exchangers, HVAC modules and air-conditioning lines. According to the official release, the plant’s production capacity can be doubled depending on market requirements in the future.   • Auto component maker Precision Camshafts has filed draft papers with capital markets regulator Sebi to float an initial public offer (IPO).The proposed IPO comprises a fresh issue of equity shares worth Rs 240 crore and an offer for sale of up to 86.40 lakh equity shares, as per the draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) filed with Sebi.(Etauto.com)
