  • Hyundai Motor India Ltd today launched 'SportZ Edition'of its compact car Grand i10 to celebrate its first anniversary. 
  • The Grand SportZ variant would available in two variants -- U2 1.1 litre CRDi diesel engine and 1.2 litre Kappa petrol engine. Launched in September 2013, Grand i10 has been sold to over 1.1 lakh customers, Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) said in a statement. (economicstimes.com)
  • Hero MotoCorp, the leading two-wheeler manufacturer in India has launched the Splendor Pro Classic, which was officially unveiled during the Auto Expo in 2014.   • Recent reports suggest that Fiat is developing an EcoSport rivalling compact SUV that has been codenamed ‘X3U’. The upcoming compact SUV is said to be based on Fiat’s modular 326 platform that also underpins the Palio hatchback and is receiving the final design touches from the automaker.   • Suzuki has sold about four million units of its supermini, the Swift. Introduced in 2004, as the company’s global strategic model, the Swift has taken about nine years and nine months to complete this milestone. The Swift hatchback was first made and sold in Japan and in 2005, production and distribution began in Hungary, India and China.
